Private Classes

Private classes focus on dancer needs and involve precise goals and milestones. Sessions are video recorded for the dancer to work on his or her self image and to have a clear visualization of his or her progress.

  • Coaching for the stage focuses on artistry and involves musicality, style, detail, port de bras, and expression.
  • Coaching for the audition or for competition focuses on presence, breathing techniques, and advanced technical skills.
  • Coaching for strengthening technique involves a pedagogical progression of exercises from different schools to re-patterning ineffective dancing habits. Cuban methodology is taught for pirouettes, big jumps, and solidity of the supporting leg, and the French school for Adage, pointes, batterie, and artistry of the gesture leg. Coordination, precision, and effective technique are the goal.
  • The post-rehabilitation session goals are: keeping the dancer in shape without compromising the injury area and progressively preparing the dancer to return to dance classes stronger and safely.
  • Cross-training classes involve Pilates, Gyrotonic, Barre au sol, and Barre with fitness props to complement the dancers’ daily training and target specific weaknesses.
